Where the game was won or lost?
We won the game because our 2nd half of netball was outstanding. We scored 31 goals while they only shot 7. Defensive pressure was amazing especially from our defenders. 48 recoveries. We were on fire.
Quarters that stood out:
The 3rd quarter stands out because of the minimal turnovers from us. We only made 4 errors and missed just the one shot. We kept all our centers and forced Broadford to turn theirs over with 5 missed shots and 5 recoveries from Taylah in WD, 3 from Brooklyn and Ash and 4 from Kaz.
Q1: Owe shot 5 in a row and then another 3.
Q2: They shot the first 4 in a row but we recovered quickly with 3, then 5, then 3 and the icing on the cake was the last 2 goals.
Q3: We started with a measly 3 in a row and then pumped the goals out. We shot 10 in a row and then the last 3.
Q4: We shot 3 in a row, then 9, then 3 more to take the win.
- Goaling was good.
- Defensive pressure was outstanding from all players on the court.
- We are mixing up who is receiving the center passes, keeping the opposition guessing.
- We were pretty penalized in the last quarter particularly with obstructions.
