As we are entering the second half of the season, we played two clubs who have found times to be hard; Rockbank and Lancefield. In saying that both clubs put a number of teams on the ground which is a credit to them and their leadership in difficult circumstances.
All Netball games were a success with all grades taking the lead and Chloe Wilson scoring 15 goals! A and B grade are 2nd on the ladder, C grade is on top and under 19’s are 5th. Against Lancefield the results are as follows.
- C grade 64 def 3
- B grade 58 def 21
- A grade 83 def 24
Football was a great success with a win for both the reserves and seniors. Jason Cooke was on fire again and scored 10 goals supported by a returning Daniel Markworth on 5 goals. The seniors are 3rd on the ladder behind Romsey and Diggers and the Reserves are 8th on the ladder on 3 wins and 5 losses so far. Against Lancefield the results are as follows.
- Reserves 5, 6.9, 8.12, 11.12 def by 0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 2.5
- Seniors 3, 11.8, 18.12, 23.14 def by 1.0, 1.2, 1.2, 1.2
Many of the Cat’s teams are well up on the ladder which is a testament to the players’ hard work and determination under excellent coaching. Great performance from all players this week!
