Unpacking the game:
We played today’s game with dignity. Lancefield were clearly fighting to compete and we made sure that we played a clean steady game. Janelle brought Shanae into the game defensively and gave her the confidence she needed to have a go at an intercept and play tight defence. We had the luxury today of moving our attacking end around and although at times it looked untidy, we persisted and the score line wasn’t affected.

Positives to be taken from the game:
- High volume.
- Great recovery / defensive effort from the whole team.
- Kept our cool considering some of the calls being made.

Area for improvement:
- Lost goaling opportunities in the 4th quarter.
- The 3rd quarter it took us a LONG time to score the first 6 goals.
- Too many bad passes
