Where the game was won or lost?
We won because our recoveries were high and so was our volume. Turnovers were high, particularly in the 2^nd and 3^rd quarter but not high enough to cost us the game against a weaker opposition. We had some significant goal runs that pushed the lead out.

Quarters that stood out:
The 2^nd quarter stands out for both good and bad. Every player but Brooklyn turned over one or more balls. 9 turnovers in 12 minutes all through bad passes. We also missed 5 goals of the 17 attempts letting another 5 opportunities leave our goal third. Defensively we were god in our defensive end. From Red back to Brooklyn we had 11 recoveries.

Significant goal runs:
Q1: Only that Riddell scored the last 4 goals in the first quarter bringing the score to a draw.
Q2: We had two 3 goal runs but nothing really significant.
Q3: We shot the first 6 goals then the next 3 goals. Riddell scored 5 to our 2 to finish the quarter off.
Q4: We started with a 6 goal run, then another 6. 12 goals to their 2 instantly.

Positive to be taken from the game:

1. Amy’s shooting kept us in the game.
2. There were some really solid passages of play.
3. Our defenders worked out their attackers very early in the game.

Area for improvement:

1. Turnover count.
2. Timing of contesting being careful not to draw too much attention to the contact.
