Many clubs have long standing supporters. But not many are as long standing as Duncan Beatson, a life Member who passed away earlier this week.
Here is a note from our President, Dom Andreacchio:
“As many of you know, Duncan Beatson was a Club legend, Life Member and great supporter of our club. Duncan passed away earlier this week and his funeral service will be held at Tony Clarke Reserve at 1pm next Wednesday 22ndMay.
In consultation with the Beatson family, the Club has agreed to organise a Guard of Honour at the services, comprising available Club Officials.
We are honoured to be doing this in honour of Duncan, his family and Duncan’s contribution to our Club and Community.
We extend our condolences to the Beatson Family, many of whom have been strongly connected to the Club.
